Blacked-out shooting floor with a seamless cyc wall, for narrative, commercial, interview and product work. Booked by the hour — book as many consecutive hours as needed. Included: shooting floor cyc wall basic power distribution Bring your camera package, media and backups. Add-ons: lighting package, grip package, production assistant, post-session cleaning. This room is held out of inventory for your whole booking, so this it carries a longer cancellation window than the rest of the campus. Cancellation: free up to 72 hours before your start time. Inside 72 hours the booking is non-refundable. The cyc wall gives you an infinite background with no visible corner, so you can key, blow out to white, or light to any colour without building a set. The room blacks out completely, which means your lighting is the only lighting — no window light shifting on you halfway through the day. Who books it: commercial and brand shoots, music videos, product and e-commerce photography, corporate interviews and talking heads, casting and audition tapes, short film and student productions. Where: theBLOC, 2041 Harvey Avenue, Kelowna BC, inside the Kelowna Event Centre. Because we're a 2.7-acre campus, a production can book the film studio for the shoot and a flex room for holding, hair and makeup or client review on the same day.
